We as individuals associate with our surrounding
mainly though our sense organs basically with what we
hear, see, smell, taste, touch and feel. This utilization of
senseorgansor impactof theseasonsarebroadlyclassified
into poor, excessive, improper and proper. Everything
proper helps to maintain the health. But
poor, excessive
and
improper utilization causes disease
. For example,
one common trend is to have headphones always and then
listen continuously for 1 hour, 2 hour or speaking on the
mobile for a longer time. These are excessive use of the
ear. Watching all violent movies is improper utilization
of the eyes. Like that if we don’t get proper rain in rainy
season that’s the
poor association
. If we get excessive
rain in rainy season its can be
excessive association
and
if you have rain in summer season that’s in
improper
association
. These all leads to an imbalance or a disease.
Next is the problem with the intellect. Intellect, according
to Ayurveda, has three faculties: one is the discrimination
between what is good and bad. There is a need to take a
decision that this is bad and I don’t need it. Then there
needs to be a decisiveness or the strength of the intellect
to stick on to that discriminative decision which you have
