eating. Like eat warm food, don’t eat very fast, don’t
talk while eating food etc. that are certain traditional
rules and regulations regiments to be followed while
eating. Ultimately is the user. His likes and dislikes, his
accustomed foods, what he is used to and all other
factors come into play.
Next is about “urges”. I don’t find a different
word this is popularly used for the Sanskrit word “vega”.
It could be a translated as a reflex so a process that is
initiated in the body which should neither be suppressed
nor created forcefully. Like farting or passing of the wind
or straining to pass stool. If you have a problem you need
to take medicine. But still creating artificially that sense
to defecate is something wrong. When you have an urge
to pass urine or stool, go to the toilet and you should not
suppress it. so this is said to be only one chapter in all the
classical texts, having a heading “rogaanutpadaneeya” or
that which is meant to prevent occurrence of diseases.
Only two things to convey - when you have a physical
urge you should not suppress it and when you don’t have
such an urge you should not artificially create it. It means
that when you climb up stairs and you are gasping for
breath, you should not pretend that everything normally,
suppress that and continue climbing.
Mental urges are anger, fear, greed, jealous,
