We speak more about the body later. About the
mind and spirit - mind is said to be link between the body
and the spirit. And it also has a predisposition to disease
and imbalances. While we talk about spirit - it is not
affected by any of the fluctuations but instead it can carry
some impressions which can manifest as either mental or
physical diseases when a life is born. Body is combination
of
Dosha
,
Dhatu
and
Mala
. We will deal in detail each of
them. Dosha simply means vitiator or that which causes
trouble. But it the same troublemaking factors in the body
when in balance create health. Dhatu in the Sanskrit word
means ‘sustainer’. It sustains the physical aspect of the
body. It maintain the nutritive process in place. Mala are
the impuritiesorproductsof thephysiological transforma-
