International Post-Graduate Diploma Course on "Yogic Science and Ayurveda"

Furthermore, from 2017, the CBS and Dr. Adrish Brahmadatta have offered a 100 hour (10 months) international diploma course for national and international public entitled "Yogic Science and Ayurveda". This is the first course outside India to combine Yoga and Ayurveda for which Indian scholars from renowned universities are invited as guest lecturers on the topics of Yoga and Ayurveda including Sanskrit.

The course is scheduled on the third weekend of each month. A number of foreign students as far away as Vietnam (the 1st and 2nd batches) flew to Bangkok on the third weekend of every month and stayed overnight near the Mahidol University campus.

The structure of this post-graduate diploma course consists of lectures on Yoga and Ayurveda in the morning and practice in the afternoon. On the last week of the course, students are evaluated through an oral exam, term paper presentation and submission as well as a practical exam on Yoga poses and asanas. After grading, a certificate from the RILCA, Mahidol University is awarded to students, and this certificate is accepted by related Thai government offices for their career advancement in the fields of teaching Yoga and health and wellness. Students of various nationalities, age and occupations have completed the course, as set out in the table below:

This post-graduate diploma course served to provide new skills or re-skill and upskill students to gain a more profound knowledge of Yoga and Ayurveda and to strength professional networking opportunities for career development in wellness industry such as resorts, health care, fitness, spa, Yoga school, Ayurveda clinic, retreats, detox centers, etc.
